Are you keen on writing German texts that catches the attention of the reader? Are you able to translate texts from Danish to German and make sure they are adjusted to the German target audience? Then we have an exciting opportunity in Cykelgears marketing department.

Cykelgear is on an exciting growth journey. From being Denmark's leading e-commerce within cycling gear, we have been established in many European countries for a few years under the brand Bikable. A very important market for us is Germany. We want to help the German people get the best cycling products at low prices and inspire more people to get on the saddle and cycle out into the beautiful, elongated country. To succeed in this, we are looking for someone who can convincingly translate our many different texts from Danish to German.

Your tasks:

• Proofread German product descriptions translated by our AI tool
• Translate SEO texts, guides, and articles
• Translate other marketing texts for social media, emails, website, etc.

This position could either be a Student Assistent position 8-12 hours weekly, OR a German Translator part time position 20-30 hours weekly.
The work schedule is preferably divided into two or four fixed working days. We are, of course, flexible to accommodate studies. 

Your qualifications and previous experience:

To succeed in the job, we see that you:

• Write and read German at a native and flawlessly level. You can formulate yourself in writing at a high level with correct grammar.
• You can translate texts from Danish to German tailored for the German audience. Previous experience is a plus.
• Work efficiently and are meticulous in delivering correct translations.
• It's a plus if you have experience using A.I. programs such as Chat GPT for translations.
• It's an advantage if you have knowledge and interest in the cycling industry, but not a requirement.
• Are a positive, solution-oriented person who enjoys teamwork.

You will be part of a driven, knowledgeable marketing team of nine people. We are a Nordic team that together produces marketing across all channels for all markets. In your daily work, you will closely collaborate with our Norwegian Country Lead who is responsible for coordinating the tasks within the team.
